Mark your calendars for 29-31 January 2017, where anti-fraud professionals will gather at Atlantis, the Palm in Dubai for the 2017 ACFE Fraud Conference Middle East. The event is being hosted by the Department of Economic Development (DED), Government of Dubai, which supports the structural transformation of Dubai into a diversified, innovative, service-based economy that aims to improve the business environment and accelerate productivity growth.
The conference will feature keynote addresses from IT security expert and co-founder of Europe’s largest antivirus company, Eugene Kaspersky as well as other anti-fraud experts. Convicted fraudster* and former Enron CFO Andrew Fastow will speak as well, offering attendees a unique look into the mind of a fraudster. In concurrent sessions, attendees will learn how to use the latest data analytics in their investigations, explore case studies in fraud from the Middle East and develop cost-effective methods of preventing and detecting fraud.
