The award was first presented to Jim Baker himself in 2008, who lost his battle with cancer the same year. Since then, the award is given annually to a speaker who demonstrates the best qualities that Mr. Baker exhibited: Dedication. Experience. Knowledge. Professionalism. This year’s winner, Tom Caulfield, has more than forty years of combined experience in the private sector, federal government and the military.
